Are you a Twitter chat newbie?
No worries, I’ve got you covered with instructions below. Get there early to make sure you know what you’re doing. If you get stuck, tweet me @MissKemya or post on my Facebook wall so I can walk you through it.
What is a Twitter chat?
A Twitter chat, aka tweetchat, is a Twitter conversation using a specific hashtag. A hashtag is like a keyword so you can follow a specific conversation. When the tweet chat “meeting” begins, you can follow along using the basic Twitter platform, but I recommend using Tweetchat. Tweetchat.com will isolate our #SWIBA conversation, so only posts with the #SWIBA hashtag will show up on your screen.
How to use Tweetchat.com
- Go to http://tweetchat.com/
- Type in hashtag SWIBA
- Hit “Sign In” to authorize the app to connect to your Twitter account.
After this, you’ll be in the #SWIBA chat room. All posts with hashtag #SWIBA will appear as we chat, and any post you type in on this page will automatically include the hashtag #SWIBA. Be sure to join the tweetchat room a few minutes early in case you get stuck. You can use these instructions before the #SWIBA chat to get the hang of it. All the tweets we’ve posted using the hashtag #SWIBA will appear.
I’ll see you there!
Ciao,
Miss Kemya
